Dennis R. Baker

Dennis "Butch" R. Baker,70, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022.
Butch was born in Akron and was a lifelong area resident. He worked in construction and helped his family at the Ido with anything they needed. Butch was an antique car enthusiast and he loved children, especially his grandson Caz. He will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jerry & Carol Baker; daughter Jennifer Cleveland; and brothers Joe & Terry Baker. He is survived by his brother Steve (Marcy); sister Vickie (Larry) Hummel; grandson Caz Cleveland; and many nieces and nephews.
Thank you to Crossroads Hospice, the nurses at the Merriman and the chaplain for their compassionate care of our brother.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 10 from 11AM-1PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
