Della Elvira Vargo

Della Vargo, 95, passed away peacefully February 20, 2016 at the Arbors at Fairlawn.
Della was a life-long resident of Cuyahoga Falls, member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, bookkeeper at Portage Country Club and an avid golfer. Della's dry sense of humor always put a smile on everyone's face. Her generosity, love and compassion for others will always be lasting memories.
She was preceded in death by husband, Stephen Vargo; son-in-law, Floyd Mullett; sisters, Mary, Jean and Helen; and brothers, Izzy, Robert and Vincent. Della is survived by daughter, Stephanie Mullett; grandsons, Stephen (Meredith) Mullett and Scott (Penny) Mullett; great-granddaughter, Cecilia; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Our family would like to thank the Arbors at Fairlawn for all the care, love, compassion and hugs given to Della during her time at their community.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, 12:30 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater East Ohio Area, 70 W. Streetsboro St. Suite 201, Hudson, Ohio 44236.
