David Naragon

David G. Naragon passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2025.

David was born on December 17, 1972, to Thomas and Barbara Naragon in Akron. He was a graduate of Hoban High School and went on to receive his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron. He worked as a senior engineer for Goodyear Tire.

David was an avid Ohio sports fan: The Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, Guardians and the Cavaliers. To celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary David and Ryung achieved their bucket list item of going on an African Safari trip in 2023.

David is preceded in death by his father Thomas Naragon and sister Janice. He is survived by his wife of 22 years HeaRyung Alyssa (Yoo); siblings Scott (Kathy), Judi (John) Timberlake, Michael (Susie), Jeffrey (Sandy), Susan (Ron) Everson, cousin Adrianne Greer and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 4-5 pm at the at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron where a memorial service will follow at 5 pm.
