David K. Firm, 94, passed away on October 9, 2025.
David was born in Northampton Twp. on January 26, 1931 to the late Raymond and Barbara Firm and was a longtime resident of the Cuyahoga Falls/Silver Lake area. He joined the Army after High School and served during the Korean Conflict. He later became a draftsman and worked for Babcock & Wilcox Industries. He later worked as a realtor for the Robert Strecker Residential Brokerage Company.
Dave had an incredibly relaxed outlook on life. He was a dapper gentleman, a very kind-hearted individual, and supporterd many charities. He loved animals, nature, photography, reading and Hershey's Dark Chocolate. He often spent his days of retirement reading at the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy and brother Melchior. He is survived by nieces Tanya (Bryan) McInerney & Monica (Christopher) Churchill; great nieces & nephews Adam, Jack, Molly & Sara McInerney and Blaich & Hadden Churchill.
David will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at Oakwood Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library.
