David Paul Capron

David P. Capron, 63, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
Dave was born in Akron on June 5, 1958 to the late Paul and Pauline Capron, and grew up in the Portage Lakes. A graduate of Coventry High School, worked as a mechanic for various area car-dealerships and then as an equipment operator for the City of Akron, retiring in 2020. Dave truly loved living life to the fullest through simple pleasures; he loved boating, fishing, and spending time camping with family and friends. He loved to entertain with his music and his "creative mixology". Dave loved telling life stories and going to Donnie Iris concerts. He was generous, and always willing to help anyone in need. He was the man to go to for anything.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Teri (Brandt); daughter Eva (Mark) Casey; son Darren (Brittany); grandchildren Matthew, Thomas, Brady, Claire, Vincent, and William; sisters Janice (Rich) Swain and Jeanne Capron-Verdone; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Thank you to the nurses and doctors at Akron City for doing everything they could for Dave. We will always remember your kindness and support during this difficult time.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 23 from 5-7PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron, where a celebration of life will be held at 7PM. Dave always loved to tell a good story; please think about your favorite stories about Dave as there will be time to share.
