Darlene Pine

Darlene A. Pine, 72, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on December 29, 2015.
Born on February 24, 1943 to the late Walter & Florence Doney, Darlene was a Portage Lakes resident for most of her life. Darlene was an active and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved attending events and activities that her children and grandchildren participated in. Darlene loved reading, working in the yard, and being with her family.
In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her husband Terry in 2010. She is survived by her children Terry (Pamela) Pine II and Melissa (Brett) Smith; grandchildren Griffen, Jameson, Benjamin, & Carter Pine and Jake, Kristin, Maddie, Lexxie, & Lucas Smith; siblings Patty, Bill, Bob, Pete, Lori, and Jimmy.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of the family, friends, and hospital staff for their support and dedication.
The family will receive friends on Monday, 4-7 pm, at the Anthony & Son Funeral Home of Green 4178 Massillon Rd. (at Massillon & Steese Rd's. in Green; entrance off of Steese Rd.). A funeral will take place on Tuesday, 12:00 pm at the funeral home, where the family will again receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
