Daniel Gregory Resanovic

Daniel Gregory Resanovic, 25, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 after several years of battling clinical depression.
Daniel was born May 8, 1992 to Nikola and Susan (West) Resanovic in Akron where he had resided his entire life. He was a 2010 graduate of Revere High School and attended the University of Akron for 5 years. He also attended Serbian Orthodox Monastery Marcha in Richfield.
Daniel is the beloved son of Nikola and Susan; grandson of Maryann West; sibling of Michael and Emilia Resanovic; nephew of David & Stephanie (West) Reimund, Thomas & Yulia West; cousin of Nenad Resanovic, Alexander, Nicholas, Daria, & Anysia Reimund, Dmitrii & Katerina West. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Very Rev. Fr. Nenad, Protinica Emilija (Stefanovic), & Stevan Resanovic, and Dr. Richard V. West.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 23 from 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron OH 44301, where a Pomen service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral services and interment will be held Monday, July 24 beginning at 11 am at the Serbian Orthodox Monastery Marcha Cemetery, 5095 Broadview Rd, Richfield OH 44286.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Daniel's memory to Monastery Marcha, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), or the discretion of the family.
