Daniel 'Dan' Dickson, 73, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024.
Dan was born in Palatka, Florida on August 3, 1951 to the late Robert & Christine Dickson and was a 1969 graduate of Garfield High School. Dan worked his entire career in the electronics industry for various companies including Diebold & Matrix Systems. Dan loved computers, hiking, a rock hound and was an avid beer taster.
Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Laura; his daughters Caroline (Donald Jr.) Davis & Erin (Craig) Larkins; loving papa to Alicia Covey, Austin Mayle, Sophia, Will & Maria Davis and Amelia & Anthony Larkins; great-grandchildren Marcel 'MJ' Reed, Jr. & Antonio Mayle; brothers Duane (Virginia) & David (Mary) Dickson.
A Celebration of Dan's life will take place on Sunday, December 15, at 1 pm at the Old Portage Masonic Temple 1589 Peninsula Rd. Akron, OH 44313
