Daline Roberta Lance-Dennison

Daline Roberta Lance-Dennison, 66, joined her husband, George Dennison Jr, in Heavenly rest, on Monday, Feb 9, 2026.

A lifelong resident of the Akron area, she was a world traveler, teaching English as a foreign language in Egypt, Jordan and China. She will be missed by family, friends and work associates at the Cuyahoga County DHS. She most recently worked on the Hotline for the Div of Children & Family Ser, committed to saving kids from atrocious situations.

Proceeded in death by her mother, Pauline (Golovic) Lance, father, Darold Sr, siblings Darold Jr, Darlene, and David. Survived by nephews Andrew, Nate, Phil, Theo, Pat, Ben, and sister-in-law Andra.

Funeral will be held at Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S Main St, Akron Oh 44301, Sunday, March 1. Gathering at noon, service at 1pm, with burial following at Lakewood Cemetery.
