Constance Nicholette Volosen

Constance N. Volosen, 71, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
Connie was born December 14, 1953 to John and Helene (Strugala) Volosen in Akron and had been an area resident her entire life. She graduated from Akron University as a dietician. Constance worked for Barberton Hospital, Marriot Corporation and Akron Children's Hospital from which she retired in January 2022 . She married later in life to David Bayus in 2008 making a home in Green. The Volosen family were long time members St. Francis de Sales Parish were Connie and David were married. In the last several years Constance and David attended Queen of Heaven Parish.
In addition to her loving husband David, Connie is survived by her brother John and Dave's children, Lindsey Ann Szarka (Bayus), David Brian and James Thomas Bayus, all of which occupied a special place in Connie's heart.
The family will have a viewing and will receive friends Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10 to 11 AM at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685, with a Mass celebrated beginning at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow the Mass at the Parish Activity Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stewart's Caring Place in Fairlawn, Ohio.
