Connie M. Phillips, 61, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
She was born in Barberton and retired from Silver Lake Country Club as Membership Director. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, enjoyed playing golf and loved to travel.
Connie was preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Gizzi; sister, Darieanne Haag; step-father, Jack Coleman; and father-in-law, Dwight Phillips, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Dwight Phillips, Jr.; step-daughter, Angela Adams; mother, Millie Coleman; father, William (Rita) Haag; brother, Jeffrey (Stacy) Haag; nephew and niece, Justin and Amanda Haag; mother-in-law, Lula L. Phillips; and sister-in-law, Kathy (Thomas C.) Johnson.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. (at the roundabout corner of Massillon and Steese Roads) Uniontown, Ohio 44685. Deacon Eugene Hausmann officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
