Cody Allen Thornhill

Cody A. Thornhill, 25, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 19, 2022, at his home.
Cody was born June 26, 1996 to Margo Smith and Jerel Thornhill in Woodbridge VA and had been an area resident most of his life. He attended Field and Ellet High Schools. He was currently employed as a chef by the Waterloo Restaurant. Cody was energetic and free spirited and loved the outdoors. His best friend was Fate, his dog and he enjoyed taking her to run at Gorge Metropark.
He is survived by his parents Margo (Jason) and Jerel (Tammy); brothers Brett (Jordyn) Sedaker, Chase Lybrook and James Thornhill; step father George Lybrook; aunts and uncles Cindy (Jeff) Lloyd, Deb Nelson, and, Linda Dailey; and cousins Patricia (Mike) Davis and William Sell.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 27, 2022, from 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St, Akron OH 44301 and a Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the benefit of animals.
