Claudia Marie Jurgens

Claudia Marie Jurgens, 76, passed away July 18, 2026.
Claudia was born in Akron on April 22, 1950 to the late Robert H. & Hannah Maude (Duffey) Jurgens. She worked at B.F. Goodrich and First Merit Bank. She enjoyed, painting, sewing, shopping for bargains, working in her garden, going to family gatherings, and going to Coventry AARP meetings.
In addition to her parents, Claudia was preceded in death by her brother Charles E. Jurgens. She is survived by her brother Garry Jurgens; sisters Karen Harter and Gloria Foxx; nieces & nephews Salvatore, Rahshai, Angel, Malaki, Christine (Brian), Caiden, Calie, Caleb, Alayna (Andrew), Myles & Knox.
The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for the loving care and kindness given to Claudia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 25, 10:00 am, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. in Akron. Private Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
