Clark Kerstetter, 91, passed away on December 18, 2017.
Born in Akron on December 29, 1925, to the late Harry & Lillian (Simon) Kerstetter, Clark was a lifetime area resident. He retired as a supervisor after 38 years of service from the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. Clark served his country during WWII, fightingin the Battle of Okinawa, & the Korean Conflict as a member of the US Marine Corps. Clark worked for 17 years as a Summit County Sheriff Deputy and was a member of the F.O.P.A.
In addition to his parents, Clark was preceded in death by his wife Marcella in 2013, as well as his sisters Maxine, Mary, & Mildred Kestetter. He is survived by longtime friends Joe Harrison & Glenn Cox, as well as other neighbors & friends. A calling hour will take place on Thrsday, from 2-3 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Clark will be laid to rest next to his wife at West Salem Cemetery in West Salem, Ohio.
