Clarence Robert "Bob" Walch

Clarence Robert 'Bob' Walch, 82, died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Pebble Creek Convalescent Center.
Bob was born in Cuyahoga Falls on January 10, 1933 to the late Andrew & Margaret Walch and was lifelong area resident. He retired from Goodyear after over 45 years of service. Bob was an avid fisherman, and a serious rollercoaster enthusiast. He loved baseball-having season tickets for the Akron Aeros and enjoying the Indians as well. Bob was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Sonya. He is survived by his sons Steven (Fredonia), William (Lori) & Dana (Amy); sister Pauline Boley; dear friend Joanne Kuzmik; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends & relatives Friday, September 4, from 5-8 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. in Akron. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. (Anthony, Akron, 330-724-1281, anthonyfh.com)
