Clarence "Clancy" Moore

May 8, 1943 — December 27, 2025

Clarence "Clancy" Moore passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on December 27, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Moore and William "Charlie" Moore.

Clancy is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carol Moore; his children, Dave (Bree) Moore, Dawn (Tim) Gross, and Missy Moore; his grandchildren, Carlee (Paul) Wellman, Emma Gross, Olivia Gross, Eron Moore, and Fallon Moore; and his great-grandchild, Colt Wellman, along with countless others who knew him as Papa.

Clancy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family was his greatest blessing, and he loved them deeply. He found joy in the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He spent many years giving back as an assistant Scout leader with Troop 335 out of Greensburg United Methodist Church, helping shape the lives of countless young people.

Known for his quick wit and playful personality, Clancy could always bring a smile to those around him. He had a sweet tooth and a special love for vanilla ice cream. He was famous among family and friends for making the best breakfasts ever, a tradition that will be fondly remembered.

Clancy worked for 30 years as an owner-operator truck driver, taking pride in his hard work and dedication. His strong work ethic and love for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
