Christopher Peter Tavolier

Chistopher Tavolier, 68, passed away peacefully, surrounded by all of his loved ones on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at his home after a brief illness.
Chris was born February 9, 1953 in Akron to Peter and Mary Alice "Sweetie" (Conway) Tavolier in Akron and had been an area resident his entire life. He was a 1971 graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School and a graduate of the University of Akron. He was part of the family business, the Darcy Group and was employed by Joshua Business Graphics and was currently employed at Lowes.
Chris was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church where he served as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and the Pre Cana Ministry. He was an alumni of CYO Search for Chrisitan Maturity where he made lifelong friends. He was also a proud member of the LHC.
Chris is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years Pamela (Boughton); children Emily (Brian) Jarzenski, Rachel (Corey) Linke, David Tavolier, Ethan Tavolier and Olivia (Zachary) Longanecker; grandchildren Gideon, Felicity, Abner and Cosette Jarzenski, Henry, Walter and Madelyn Linke and Amelia Longanecker; father Peter Tavolier; siblings Michele (Don) Petush, Michael (Carolyn) Tavolier, Mary Alice (Peter) Bell, Peter Tavolier, Brian Tavolier, Darcy Tavolier, Barry (Betsy) Tavolier, Buffy (Michael) McDermott. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded death by his mother (Mary Alice Tavolier and infant brother Peter Ralph Tavolier.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 25, 2021, from 2 to 5 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St., Akron OH 44301. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 26, 2021, at 10AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 . Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
