Christopher L. Pinas

Christopher Lawrence Pinas, age 27, unexpectedly but peacefully was called home to the arms of our Lord Thursday, July 11, 2013.
Chris was born August 13, 1985 in Akron and had been an area resident his entire life.
Chris is survived by his mother, Debra (Colant) Pinas; son, Jaxon Cunningham and Jaxon's mother, Tiffany; his sisters, Lauren Pinas and Heather O'bot, Heather's children, Zoe, Cameron and Rex; grandmother, Anita Colant; aunts and uncles, Mary Ellen (Mark) Gauer, David Colant, Anne (Bob) Alderman, and Tony (Stephanie) Colant, and numerous friends and relatives.
Chris was preceded in death by his loving grandfather,Tony Colant.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron, 44301. In lieu of other remembrances, the family prefers donations to assist with funeral expenses.
