Christine Ellen Clark

Christine Ellen Clark, 64, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 surrounded by her family at Akron City Hospital.
Born on March 22, 1952 in Akron to the late Alphonso & Corinne Jackson, Tina was a lifelong area resident. She married the love of her life, Larry Clark in 1977, and was a proud wife and mother. An avid sports fan, Tina loved the Cavs and never missed a game-but her passion shone most brightly & loudly at her son's games, and she'd travel hundreds of miles to see him play. Tina's generous spirit brought so much joy and love to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by her brother Richard Jackson & nephew Johnny Jackson. She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Larry; son Justin (Katie); brothers Bob (Barb) & Ronald (Maria) Jackson; sisters-in-law Karen Jackson & Debra Clark; nieces & nephews Jennifer (Agostino) Micozzo, Jeff (Janet) Jackson, & Jannessa Stover; dear friend of over 40 years, Shirley (Larry) Harkless; Nikki Jones, who was like a daughter to Tina & Larry; as well as many other loved ones & friends.
Special thanks to Donna Sponsler & the Parker Hannifin Family. Also, the family is grateful to the nurses, doctors and staff at Akron City Hospital for their kind & compassionate care of Tina.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 30 at 12noon, at the Firestone Metro Park, Tuscarawas Shelter, 2620 Harrington Road in Akron, where the family will continue to visit with friends & share memories until 2:30 PM. In case of rain, the service will be held at Compass North Church, 2445 S Arlington Rd, Akron, OH 44319. Inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
