Cheryl Lynn Magrell

Cheryl Lynn Magrell, 59, departed this world and gained her angel wings on May 6th, 2017.
Cheryl was born in Akron to Robert and June Magrell on September 15th 1957. She went to Green Schools from kindergarten through high school. She then became a mother and spent her life raising her children. She worked for many years as a caregiver and more recently worked providing transportation for people with special needs. Cheryl loved the beach and enjoyed family vacations. She loved to cook and has many hand-written recipes for the sweet treats that she enjoyed baking for her loved ones. She also loved to shop.... and the thrift store was her favorite. She loved to be on the go. She always took pride in her appearance and loved dressing up and putting on her high-heels. Cheryl had a love for life and unconditional love for her for friends and family that gave her joy in life. Cheryl was a member of Mountain of the Lord Church and had a deep love for her church brothers and sisters.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, June Magrell (Schreffler); father, Robert Magrell Sr.; and brothers, Dave and Gary Magrell. Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Tara Magrell and Tonia Magrell; son (grandson), Cory Magrell; son, Anthony Magrell Sr., step-daughters, April and Misty Erickson; brothers, Robert Magrell Jr. and Richard Magrell; sister, Judy Anderson; granddaughters, Kayla, Courtney, Alyssa, Alana, and Nevaeh; grandsons, Maurice, Preston, Anthony, Marquis, Deshawn, Dominic and Anthony Jr.; and great-grandson, Torrey.  She is also survived by her best friend, Diane Baker and significant other, Jeffrey Kindle; as well as special cousins, Brenda King and Brook Stallings; and many other special friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel at 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. with Minister Linda McCray of Mountain of the Lord Church officiating. Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel are handling the funeral arrangements.
