Charlotte Priscilla Giannone

Charlotte P. "Peaches" Giannone, 86 passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. She was born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania and retired from the Hamlin Steel Company. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and a life member of  Firestone VFW Post 3383 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Sr.; daughter, Mary Louise; son, Timothy James; and daughter-in-law, Nellie. She is survived by sons, Robert, Jr. and Mike (Jean); grandchildren, Erin (Chris Baumgardner) Bidwell-Giannone, James Bidwell-Giannone and Jeffrey Giannone; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. The family will receive friends Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made in her name to the Firestone VFW Post 3383 or Ladies Auxiliary 3383, 690 W. Waterloo Rd.
