Charles J. Sabo

Charles J. Sabo, 83, passed away on December 25, 2015.
Born on April 8, 1932 to the late Paul & Dora Sabo, Charlie had been an area resident since after the Korean War. He served his country as a member of the US Navy. Charlie worked for Ford at the Walton Hills plant, retiring in 1987. Charlie was an avid traveler and loved the horse track.
In addition to his parents Charlie was preceded in death by his wife Mary; brothers Paul, Alex, and George Sabo; sisters Bertha Bokey, Helen Dudash, Dorothy Vukelich, Mary Sabo, and Ethel Aldridge. He is survived by his sister Julie Sabo, as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 29, 11 am, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Jim Kasler officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.
