Charles E. Miller II
April 16, 1982 - May 14, 2026
Charles Miller was born on April 16, 1982, in Akron, OH where he resided and passed on May 14, 2026.
He was the beloved son of Charles K. Miller and Laura Dienoff.
Charlie grew up in Florida before returning to Ohio, graduating from Field High School. He continued to spend time living in Florida and Ohio throughout his adult life. He served as a Combat Engineer in the U.S. Army stationed in Baumholder, Germany.
A lifelong sports enthusiast - he loved to play basketball and was a superfan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and 'The Ohio State.' He was an avid surfer with a passion for beach life. Charlie loved to cook and would often make and share his signature gumbo. He was a skilled welder and enjoyed building and fixing things for friends and neighbors. From birth he had a profound connection with animals. He could talk to anyone and had an incredible sense of humor. He will be remembered for his quick wit, determination, and animated expressive nature.
Charlie is survived by his mother Laura Dienoff (FL), sister Rachel (Jeremi) Roberts (FL), brothers Mick (Shawna) Dienoff (OH) and Jon Hurm (FL), as well as numerous extended family. He is preceded in death by his father Charles K. Miller.
Charlie will be truly missed, deeply loved and forever remembered.
Services will be Sunday May 24, 2026, at Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel, 1900 S Main St, Akron, OH. 44301. Calling hours will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm.
