Catherine L. Allmän, 87, passed away on August 28. Born in Akron to the late Karl and Lucille Allman, Catherine was a life-long Akron resident and member of Blessed Trinity (St. Martha's) Parish. Cathy earned her Bachelor's Degree from Cleveland's St. John University and her Master's from Harvard. A dedicated teacher she retired from Cuyahoga Falls School System and had volunteered as a CCD teacher at St. Martha's.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John and James ( and wife, Elizabeth) Allman, and nephew, David Allman. Her survivors include sister-in-law, Mary Lou Allman; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 17 at 10::00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Church (300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron 44310).
