Catherine Patricia Agosta (Zacavish), Age 83, of Norton passed away peacefully on Saturday April 2, 2016 surrounded by her family. Catherine was born on March 17, 1933 in Galloway, West Virginia to Pete and Anne Zacavish. Catherine grew up in Akron and lived most of her life in Norton. Catherine was affectionately known to her family as Miss Kitty or nana. Her life was dedicated to her husband, family and friends. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her a tremendous amount of joy. Kitty was a pillar of strength and compassion to her family. She loved cooking, gardening and had a special adoration for butterflies. Her love was unconditional and her sense of humor exceptional. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. Catherine now joins her husband of 60 years, Louis Anthony Agosta. Also, preceded in death by her parents Pete and Anne Zacavish, Brother in law Robert Finely, son in laws Bill Kauffmann and Dan Artino. She is survived by her brother Johnny (Doris) Zacavish, sisters Marjorie (Joe) Agosta and Sandy Paul, sons Salvatore (Kathy) Agosta, John (Sue) Agosta, daughters Nancy Artino and Patricia Agosta, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 5-8 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron.
