Carolyn Joanne (Skinas) Mclaughlin

We are sad to announce the passing of Carolyn J. McLaughlin, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and dear friend. She passed peacefully at the age of 72 surrounded by her family on Friday, August 26, 2022 after a short illness.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Gary McLaughlin, parents Joseph Pastor, Neale Skinas and Velma Skinas and sister Sandra Gallimore. She is survived by her beloved daughters Joanne Green and Marianne McLaughlin, son David McLaughlin and daughter-in-law Bridget McLaughlin, grandchildren Zoey Green, Gary McLaughlin, Erin McLaughlin, Marissa Pope, Natalie Pope and Selena Miksch, great grandchild Ellie Miksch, sister Rebecca Piernik and brother-in-law Robert Piernik, brother-in-law Don Gallimore and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls and retired from Western Reserve Hospital. Calling hours will take place on Friday, September 2 from 2-4 pm with a memorial service from 4-4:30 pm at McGowan-Reid and Santos Funeral Chapel at 247 Stow Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls following cremation. For those who wish to donate in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors or Falls Cancer Club.
