Carolyn Dyarmett

Carolyn Dyarmett, 79, passed away on June 22, 2026.

Carolyn was born in Akron on January 13, 1947 to the late Harold & Julia Grigsby and was a 1965 graduate of Manchester High School where she was a cheerleader. Carolyn was a stay at home mom. She enjoyed baking Christmas Cookies. Carolyn loved celebration events: weddings, graduations, funerals, etc. She was an exceptional problem-solver and was the go-to person whenever you needed advice. Carolyn was very active and enjoyed many activities including golf, family game night, casinos, dancing, and travel. She was very neighborly and enjoyed all of her neighbors. Carolyn was a very supportive mother and grandmother and was a great friend with a great friend group.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother Richard. She is survived by her children Jonathan (Jennifer), Julie Stoll, & Eric (Heather); grandchildren Jonathan Jr., & Jessica Dyarmett, Dustin (Laura) & Raquel Stoll, & Declan Dyarmett; great-granddaughter Anastasia Stoll; brothers Don (Maggie) & Kenny (Saundra) Grigsby.

A Celebration of Carolyn's life will take place on Wednesday, July 1, from 5-8 pm, with dinner being served at 6 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home Reception Center 1990 S. Main St. in Akron.
