Carolyn left God's good earth on May 21st to be with the Lord and her mom and dad and all the saints. Born on March 28,1943, Carolyn had the love for many things while here - the Lord, her family, though daughter and son are estranged, the holy Catholic Church, and her nursing career. She was a daily Mass goer. She was happily married to Richard for over 57 years. She was involved in 20 different ministries at Holy Family Church in Stow for 55 years while being a Registered Nurse for 59 years. Carolyn was a graduate of Barberton High School and St. Thomas Hospital School of Nursing. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Gruber; Richard's parents, Joseph and Marie Vanco, she is survived by husband, Richard; children, Monica Baird, and Curtis (Cheryl Yoder) Baird; two brothers; two sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be calling hours on Friday, May 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 10:40 at Holy Family Church (3179 Kent Rd. in Stow). Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
