Caroline A. Mccoy

Green - Caroline (Carrie) McCoy (Frankina), 95, passed away peacefully October 6, 2022.
It is with heavy hearts that we suffer from the loss of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
She was born April 19, 1927 to the late Sam and Rose Frankina. She was preceded in death by husband, Bert (58 years); brothers, Baby Frankina, Neil (Bebe) Frankina, Joe Frankina, Sam Frankina and sister, Jenny Bricker.
She is survived by daughters, Carol McCoy, Theresa Campailla and Pam (Michael) Dietrich. Also mourning her death are her grandchildren, Natalie (Jeff) Cooper, Anthony (Devon) Campailla, Stephanie (Jim) Torok, Deanna (Kevin) Gruber, Tina (Nick) Bower, Michael Dietrich, II. and Kailie (John) Dietrich. Her great-grandchildren, Olivia Cooper, Zach Cooper, Marisa Campailla, Owen Cooper, Dominic Gruber, Ronan Campailla, Gabby Gruber, Caroline Bower and Delaney Bower. Her sisters, Ada (Jim) Marazita and Sarah (Larry) Dooley; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
One of her greatest accomplishments was fostering 99 newborn babies. She was a wonderful, caring and strong woman that was full of love.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church on Brown St. in Akron where the family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses may be made or donations may be made to Hospice of Summa at Akron City Hospital, Akron, Ohio. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron. 330-724-1281)
