Carole Mehen, 59, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away unexpectedly at home on November 4, 2024. Born in Barberton, and a graduate of Kenmore High School, Carole had spent the majority of her life in Northeast Ohio.

Carole was a diligent reader, with a particular fondness for a good mystery. She, like many in the area, loved and was disappointed by the Cleveland Browns. An avid crafter, she created memories for her family through plastic canvas sewing and crocheting. A paralegal by trade, Carole found work in law offices in the Akron area, before finding her place at Kisling, Nestico and Redick.

Carole was preceded in death by her loving parents, Thomas and Madaline Stefanko. She is survived by son, James; daughter, Bri; and sister, Diane Jones. As well as many other friends and family. She will be remembered most for her kind heart, quick wordplay, and love for her family.

Friends may call on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 9 am to 10 am at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, located at 811 Grant St in Akron. A memorial service will follow at 10 am, with a gathering for friends and family at Old 97, located at 1503 Kenmore Blvd, at 12pm.
