Carole J. Cable (Longacre) passed away on Oct. 14. Born in Columbus, Ind. to the late Hubert and Evelyn Morris, Carole has been a Stow area resident for the last 15 years. Carole loved painting and held a degree in Fine Arts from the Cleveland Institute of Art. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, as well as gardening and taking care of her two pet cats. In 1987, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Longacre. She married Bob Cable in 2009, they enjoyed touring the country in their motor home.

Her survivors include husband, James "Bob" Cable; daughters, Stacey (Robert) DeAnna, and Julie (Steve) Kostelec; son, Kirk Longacre; grandchildren, Kyle, Trent, and Reece DeAnna; and brother, Michael Morris. Her brother, Phil Morris preceded her in death.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91) where Pastor Paul Wides will officiate at a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be at 12:00 Noon at Sunset Memorial Gardens in N. Olmstead.

Memorial donations may be made to either the Humane Soc. of Summit Co. or to the American Cancer Society.
