Carol Sue (Horseman) Burk

Carol Burk, 78, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2021.
Carol was born on May 5, 1943 in Akron to the late Harold & Katherine Horseman and was a graduate of Coventry High School. She was a member of Lockwood United Methodist Church. Carol was a member of both the Barberton and Akron City Women Clubs. She enjoyed traveling and going to see shows at the Hartville Kitchen.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband William in 2018; her sons Scott & Todd; siblings Kay, Gloria & Bill. She is survived by her son Perry (Robyn); daughter-in-law Andrea Burk; grandchildren Alec, Hailey, Ana, Scott, & Tyler; she was also 'grandma' to Riley, Nettie, & Adeline; sisters Betty & Bonnie.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 18, at 10:00 am, at Lockwood United Methodist Church 3680 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial in Carol's memory to the church.
