Bruce A. Barden

Bruce A. Barden, 70, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his home.
He was born in Akron, Ohio and was a foreman in the finishing department at Ferriot Brothers retiring after 42 years of service. Bruce was a member of Firestone Park Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the Ohio Air National Guard. He was an avid golfer and had the opportunity to play at the Old St. Andrews Golf Course in Scotland. He was also an avid woodworker and liked to build things out of wood.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Violet-Mae (Boyce) Barden. He is survived by his son, Shawn Barden; brother, Alan Barden; and sister, Nancy Cron.
There are no calling hours or services at this time. Donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association or to The First Tee, an organization to encourage young golfers. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron)
