Brenda Lee Lewis

Brenda Lee Lewis, 70, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
She was born in Akron and was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was lovingly known as "Mama Lew" because she had the biggest heart and made everyone feel welcome and loved. She was a fantastic cook, decorator, and friend. She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and rescuing animals. When she wasn't tirelessly taking care of others, she enjoyed planting flowers, horse racing and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Eleanor (Mills) Harris; brother, Harold Harris; sister, Sherri Lynch; and infant daughter, September Diane Lewis. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Lewis; children, Candace Kim-Knox (James Knox), Arianne Lipinski (James), Matthew Lewis (Katherine) and Jonathan Lewis; grandchildren, James, Hayden, Landon and Lucas Lipinski; and Carter, Cameron, Nathan and Gavin Lewis; siblings, Anne Harris-Stockall (Dave Cochran), Peggy Sloan (Ronnie), Gil Harris (Bonnie), Patty Harris and Mark Harris; sister-in-law, Karen Harris; brother-in-law, Mike Lynch; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221 where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
