IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda Hazelett
Hook
December 6, 1957 – September 5, 2025
Brenda Marie Hazelett Hook, who was born on December 6, 1957, to the late Alfred "Homer" and Martha Hazelett (nee: Kovacich), in Akron Ohio, peacefully passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 67.
Brenda was preceded in death by her brother Alan Hazelett. as well as her parents.
Brenda resided in Stow, OH. She was a dedicated caregiver, who donated her life to nurturing those around her; embodying kindness, compassion, and love in every interaction.
Brenda was the beloved mother of her daughter, Megan (Karen) Hook, son, Shawn (Lindsay) Hook to whom she taught the lesson, "Life is too short". She was loving, kind, caring and a very talented woman. She was a quilter, crafter, scrapbooker and one of the best organizers you would have ever met. She was the "fixer" and "go to" person for all her family and friends. Brenda gave from her heart in all that she did.
She was a loving grandmother also known as "Te" to Isaac, Mason, Bentley and Ella. She was licked with a lot of love from her grand-dogs Gunner, Trex and Levi. She adored her "grands" and they were her world. She cherished every moment and memory she made with them.
Her survivors also include siblings: Theresa Karpinski, Dan Hazelett and Ed (Terri) Hazelett as well as several nieces and nephews.
Brenda loved her entire family and she was blessed and thankful for those she called, "My people."
In this time of grief, let us remember Brenda for her unconditional love, her laughter, and the warmth she brought into our lives. May her soul rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Per Brenda's wish there will be no services, but there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Those wishing to make donations in memory of Brenda should send gifts to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
