Brenda Lee (Newman) Heisroth

Brenda Lee Heisroth, 82, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

Beloved wife of Charles, mother of Neil (Kay) Heisroth and Lynne Wilson, grandmother of Paige, Meg, and Brooke Heisroth and Riley and Drew Wilson and sister of Charles Newman, Lora Spencer and Delmar (Jill) Newman.
Brenda was a librarian/media specialist with Lake Local Schools from 1984-2002.

Her love of books and reading led to her involvement with Libraries Across Borders where she traveled to remote areas in Africa supporting literacy by providing books. She supported the Hartville migrant community by setting up and maintaining small libraries for the workers as well as helping organize book sales for the Hartville Friends of the Library.

She was a member of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church and helped with events whenever able.

She cherished time with her family. Summers at Lake O' Pines and beach vacations at Nag's Head were among some of her favorites. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling with Chuck. Australia, Iceland, Japan and Sweden were just a few of the many countries they visited. Their lives were as full as the stamped pages of their passports.

A celebration of Brenda's life will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, 1460 State Street NE, North Canton, Ohio 44721.
