Brenda Sue Dannemiller

Brenda Dannemiller, 65, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 11, 2018.
Brenda was born December 7, 1952 to Jack and Elizabeth (Montgomery) Tuttle in Akron and had been an area resident her entire life. She was employed by Graves Lumber for more than 20 years, retiring in 2014. She was a member of Grace Church and a former member of First Baptist Church of Barberton. She was in the church choir, the women's group and was a Sunday school teacher.
Brenda was a member of a philanthropic organization, Delta Theta Tau Sorority. A charter member of Xi Gamma Chapter, she served as President, Vice President and Treasurer several times during her 42 years of service. She also served as the 1989 Gamma Province Chairman and numerous times on the National and Province level committees. She received one of the highest honors in 2014, the "Theresa McCallister Award," given for best exemplifying the essential qualities of service to the community, those in need, and charitable contributions.
Loving mother, daughter, sister, and wife who devoted her life to family, faith, and service. She adored her six grand babies who will forever know her as "Gaga D". She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and how she always greeted her family with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She will one day greet us again at our Lord's house with a hug and kiss on the cheek.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father Jack Tuttle and is survived by her husband of 41 years Gary; children Michelle (Kevin) Brod and Paul (Nicole) and Ryan Dannemiller; mother Elizabeth Tuttle; grandchildren Mason, Colton and Eli Brod and Dylan, Aubrey and Nathan Dannemiller; and brother Barry (Brenda) Tuttle.
The family will receive friends Monday 4 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron OH 44301 where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Delta Theta Tau Sorority, XI Gamma, c/o 2632 Ellet Ave. Apt. 10, Akron 44312, in memory of Brenda.
