Boncil "Cindy" Stollar
June 9, 1934 - June 7, 2025
Boncil "Cindy" Stollar, of Akron Ohio passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, just two days shy of her 91st birthday. She was born on June 9, 1934, in Huntington, West Virginia, and was one of five children. She was preceded in death by her beloved twin sister, Bonnie.
Cindy lived a full and spirited life. She enjoyed singing "Rocky Top" and clog dancing with her siblings at holiday gatherings. A devoted NASCAR fan, she also had a love for adventure and travel, proudly visiting all 50 states throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Stollar, and her son, Joseph Henry Durbin. She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Snyder, and son-in-law, Mark Snyder.
Above all, Cindy cherished her family. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
Cindy will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, her love of family, and the strength and grace with which she lived her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 20, from 10-11 am at the Anthony Funeral Home-Akron Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron where a funeral service will take place at 11. A graveside will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273
