Billie E. Geary

Billie E. Geary, 92, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023.
He was born in Central City, Kentucky and retired from Firestone after 35 years of service. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Akron. Billie served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant during the Korean Conflict Era. He was a life member of the American Legion and the Marine Corps League-Chesty Puller. He was a member of 40/8. Billie was also a collector of Antique Cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Maggie Mae (Fraim) Geary; daughter, Andrea Smith; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Geary; and son-in-law, Mike Fair. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Ann(Reitz) Geary; sons, Quintin Geary, Hermon (Shanna) Ferrell and Michael (Sherry) Ferrell; daughter, Alicia Fair; and son-in-law, Jeff Smith; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and lifelong friends Bob & Jackie Jones.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 20, 1 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends from 11 am until the time of the service. Pastor Bob Stephens officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. Donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd. Akron, Ohio 44306.
