Beulah Mae Snyder

Beulah Mae Snyder, 94, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, August 28, 2018 in Cambridge, OH.
Born in Richlands, VA on March 27, 1924 to the late William Beverly & Haley Adeline Helbert, Beulah moved to Cleveland in 1941.  She had resided in Senecaville, OH since 2013.  She was a longtime member of the Good News Ministry Church in Cleveland, OH.  During WWII, Beulah worked as a volunteer hospital nurse, when the entire nursing staff was called to duty for the war effort.  In 1950 Beulah married Jacob Joseph Snyder, Jr., to whom she was married for 21 years, until his death in 1971.  One of Beulah's proudest achievements was going on to raise three children as a single mother.
In addition to her parents and husband, Beulah was preceded in death by 9 siblings.  She is survived by her  children Sharon Diane (Ernie) Green, Sandy Snyder, & David (Karen) Snyder; grandson Adam Christopher Green & granddaughter Nicole (John) Slyman, as well as several nieces & nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, 11 am to 1pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral will follow at 1pm.  Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
