Betty Ann Nigh

Betty Ann Nigh (Barringer), 86, passed away November 1, 2026.
Betty was born in Parkersburg, WV on October 7, 1940 to the late Eber & Margaret Barringer and she was a 1958 graduate of Garfield High School. Betty retired from the Hecky Group, where she worked for over 25 years. Betty loved her family and she was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Betty was a tireless worker. She raised six kids and tried her best to take care of everyone. She was a steadfast and gracious holiday host.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband William; daughter Rebecca Wilson and son Johnny Nigh; sisters Peggy Compton and Nancy Campbell; grandson Michael DeMaria. She is survived by her children Jimmy (Toni) Nigh, Diana (Tom) Tyson, Robert (Gail) Heidt, and Rachelle Light; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Smith along with a host of nieces & nephews, friends, and co-workers.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, November 7, 1 pm, with the family receiving friends beginning at 11 am, at the Anthony & Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home 3333 Kent Rd. in Stow. Interment will follow at Silver Springs Cemetery in Stow.
