Betty Naomi Hall, 94, of Akron passed away Monday, August 29th, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 26, 1922 in Malvern, Ohio, the daughter of the late Thomas L and Mary E. (Middleton) Holt. Betty loved to play the piano, read the Bible and spend time with her family. She also enjoyed crochet and loved to sing gospel. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings, four brothers, Thomas, David, John and Billy Holt; and her two sisters, Bessie Stevens and Addie Holt. She is survived by her son, Richard Hall; grandson, Dion Hall; granddaughter, Stacia Hall all of Akron; niece Mary Holt-Porter (Eugene) of Orlando, Fla; and great nephew, Drew (Sharon) Taylor of Atlanta, Ga. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Betty's family wishes to acknowledge and express their deep appreciation for the prayers, kind words, and many acts of kindness and support shown to them during this time of sorrow..
