Betty Burkhardt

Elizabeth 'Betty' Burkhardt, 91, passed away on December 2, 2018. Born in Lakewood, OH on March 18, 1927, she was a longtime resident there, until moving to Akron over 35 years ago. Betty was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Akron, as well as St. Paul Ladies Guild, Firestone Park Seniors, Grace Baptist Seniors, and Ellet Seniors.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. in 2001; parents Anthony & Barbara Kotlarcik; Daughter Beverly Burkhardt; daughter-in-law Paula Burkhardt; grandson Carl & sister Mary Chopak. She is survived by her sons Brian R. (Angela) & Robert A.; grandchildren Robin (Tony), Barbara, Robert P. & Brian E., as well as great-grandchildren Jacob, Jenna, & Saryna.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, 4-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 10:30 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. in Akron. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland.
