Beth Ann (Kilroy) Anthony

With her loving husband of 47 years by her side and holding her hand, Beth Anthony, 67, of Winchester, VA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Beth was born on July 15, 1957, in Akron, Ohio, to Jack and Jo Ann Kilroy. Her life was filled with love, laughter, and children both at home and school where she taught seventh grade math for 20 years.

Beth grew up in Barberton, Ohio, attending St. Augustine elementary school and later graduating from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in 1975. Her journey continued at the University of Akron, where after years of raising 4 boys she went on to achieve her Bachelor of Teaching at the University of Akron when she turned 40 years old. Beth's passion for education never wavered. She returned to college while living in North Carolina and received her master's in education.

Beth met her high school sweetheart Peter Anthony at a church sponsored youth group when they were both 16 years old. After dating for 4 years, they wed in 1977 never wavering and always faithful they built a family of four children, Nicholas, Joseph, Jonathan, and Gregory.

The fun part of Beth is she loved a good party, loud gatherings and laughing. She always looked forward to Pi-Day March 14! So, to honor her joyful and fun-loving spirit, please join us for her Celebration of Life on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44301. We'll be having a cheesecake pie, and beer festival with family and friends, all being good company. Beth loved cheesecake and hated beer, but Pete could never eat cheesecake and preferred beer so there you have it - a party of life for Beth!

Beth never fussed over formality. She merely sought laughter and connection. She never knew a stranger. So, please, come as you are, bring your family, and maybe a favorite cheesecake to share. Please, no flowers or donations are necessary. Your presence is honored and loved
