Beatrice E. Taormina, 97, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014.
She was born in Akron and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Mrs. Taormina was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Lucy (Johns) Plouri; and husband, Joseph. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Ethel Taormina; daughter and son-in-law, Lucy and Greg McFadden; brother, Elmer Plouri; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday, 12 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Deacon Frank Lonteen officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home. (Anthony, Akron, 330-724-1281, www.anthonyfh.com)
