Barbara Ann (Cassel) Marquard

Barbara Ann Marquard, 77, passed away on May 3, 2024.
Barbara was born on November 27, 1946 to the late Don Dempsey & Anna Cassel and was a graduate of Garfield High School. She worked as an RN and retired from Edwin Shaw Hospital. Barb was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She loved her dogs, sailing, animals, and being with family.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Chas, & step-son Jim. She is survived by her son Nicholas; step-sons Joe (Debbie) & Jeff (Nina); grandsons Christian & Ryan; step-grandchildren Michelle & Nicole; daughter-in-law Mimi.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 19, from 12-3 pm, with a brief memorial service immediately following, at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron.
