Barbara Kippes

Barbara (Boehme) Kippes, 83, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at Pleasant View Health Center.
Barbara was born October 20, 1934 to Charles G. and Marion (Young) Boehme in Akron and had been an Akron area resident her entire life. Barbara and her beloved husband William were inseparable. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening. She was a lifelong pet lover. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband William L. in 2016 and her siblings Charles Boehme Jr, Edna Sassano, Robert Boehme, Delores Gates and Marilyn Krochta. She is survived by her children Michael Kippes, Cynthia (Gregory) LaFlame, Sandra (Jeffrey) McCausland and Brenda (Michael) Kozlowski; brother Albert (Imogene) Boehme and grandchildren Kent and Christopher Kippes, Melanie LaFlame and Alan, Caitlyn, Tarah and Kristen McCausland.
The family will receive friends Thursday 5 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Rd. (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance off of Steese Rd.). Funeral services will begin Friday at 9:30am at the funeral home and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. Akron, OH 44301.
