Barbara Lee Husk

Barbara "Barbie" Lee Husk, 73, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on June 5, 2026.

Barbie was born in Elizabeth, West Virginia, to Gilbert Husk and Evanglee McGlothin.

Barbie loved crocheting, caring for animals, playing bingo, and spending time with her beloved babies, Ricky and Marie.

She was preceded in death by her father Gilbert Husk; brothers Rick Husk and Eddie Spindle; and sister Billie Jean Holsomback.

Barbie is survived by her mother Evanglee McGlothin; sisters Sheila Laughlin, Darlene Seaver; brothers Thomas Spindle, James Spindle; best friend Dawn White; friend John Oplinger; and nephews, Nicklaus and Adam Holsomback.

Barbie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Akron Chapel, 1990 S. Main Street, Akron where a funeral service will be held immediately following at 6:00 pm.
