Barbara Egan passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Born in Titusville, PA to the

late Norman and Arloene (VanTassel) Looker, she was a graduate of Bryant & Stratton Business College. Prior to her marriage she had been employed in the accounting department at Quality Motors in Titusville. She was a wife, mother and homemaker. In 2007 she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph. Barbara was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel.

Her survivors include daughters, Kathleen Egan and Linda (Michael) Fiala; sister, Linda (Marshall) Merrill; brothers, Lee (Bev) Looker and Larry (Deby) Looker; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St., Akron, OH 44311) where the Rosary will be recited at 6:30. Requiem Mass will be on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel (2935 Chenoweth Rd. Akron, OH 44312) followed by interment at Northampton Cemetery (1014 West Bath Road, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223).
