Austin J. Greenlee, 23, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 11, 2021.
Austin was born in Akron on October 30, 1997 and grew up in Green, Ohio. He attended Green Public Schools.
Austin felt most at home outdoors. He loved hiking, camping, building fires, hanging out with friends and testing his survival skills. He had a deep love for his family and friends and cherished the time they would spend together playing practical jokes on each other.
If you were lucky enough to be his friend, he was fun-loving, easy going, generous, and truly delightful. It was a sheer pleasure to be in his company. You were free to be yourself around him.
Austin had so much goodness and such capacity to bring happiness to others and he had such a bright future. The world is a lesser place without him. We will forever reminisce about his ever-present smile that would light up a room.
He leaves behind his father and stepmom, Jeremy & Mellissa Greenlee; mother, Melissa Oliveros; brothers Jacob, Michael & River; stepbrothers Nathan & Gage; grandparents Scott & Mona Barb, Ian & Christine Boone, and Richard & Vicki Denny; aunts and uncles Jason & Jamie, John & Carla, Charles & Kelly, and Earl & Deanna; cousins Derek, Olivia, Lily, Austin, Todd, Josh, and Lil.
